Altitude picking

Order picking on high altitudes can be a real challenge: employees are unable to clearly see the movement of the reach truck, which not only causes physical complaints but also takes it longer to finish the job and can cause rack damage.

In order to improve your employees’ wellbeing, boost efficiency and eliminate rack damage, a 3D camera can be attached to the fork of the reach truck. In combination with the HoloLens, order pickers maintain the same clear overview as they would have on the ground; no matter the altitude.

To take it to the next level, AI and computer vision can be leveraged to provide the order picker with extra visual information such as measured distance from the forklift to the pallet, height, … comparable to vehicle detection sensors in a car.
